I might not be ready for the new fall season...

What? What blasphemy is this? Could it be? It could, of course be my new found dedication to my Kindle and sun tanning that has me fearing the cold, hot sweat of my DVR in overdrive. My current FWP--my DVR isn't large enough to hold everything I need in this world. But enough about me. Let's go!

Tonight officially kicks off the new TV season, and here's what we got:

Only two new shows tonight. One of which, according to my deep reading, suggests is worth your time and effort.

Madam Secretary stars Tea Leoni as the Secretary of State. From all I've read, this show aspires to be the next West Wing. Okay, I'm sold. We all know how much The West Wing remains one of my Top Ten favorites of all time, so I'll definitely be checking it out. Couple that with a great cast--including Tim Daly as her husband, and the only downer for this how is its 8 p.m. time slot on football Sundays. May not get lots of eyes as a result.

As for the fact that my schedule above says that CSI: Cyber is on, apparently it is just the good ol' fashioned CSI. Which I haven't watched in eons. Good thing reruns are on a constant loop!

Mulaney is a show that is being compared to Seinfeld. It does also star Martin Short, which can be a good thing, but the show itself is not making any lists--good or bad. Mulaney plays a stand-up comic working for a game show. Here's the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZSe7V02oLI

Where I'll be spending my time/DVR space:
I always try everything on the list, but I think this is where I'll be spending my time and energy.
We've been huge Once Upon a Time fans since the get-go, so we will continue watching that. Brooklyn Nine-Nine became one of our favorites last year too--it really found a groove around four episodes in. I'll continue watching The Good Wife, and add in Madame Secretary as well. I'm a season behind on Revenge, but I've got Netflix, so I could possibly get caught up there. At some point in my life, that is. ;)
