Must See TV?

Gone are the simple days of sitcoms ruling the roost on Thursday nights.

ABC continues with TGIT and their all Shonda line-up. I'm still not over McDreamy's death.

CBS has one new show in November, Angel from Hell, starring Jane Lynch. Lynch plays a guardian angel who, of course, is not your typical guardian angel--she might be more of a party angel. She's been in charge of her guardian-ee (Maggie Lawson, Psych) since she was a little girl.

CW and FOX bring nothing new to the table.

But NBC has two new shows. Heroes Reborn is a sequel to their Heroes show from last decade. I too wonder if what has happened to the heroes, and this 13 episode mini series will try to answer that question for us. Plus, Zachary Levi (Chuck!). Their second show, The Player, brings Wesley Snipes to the small screen. After reading the description twice, I'll try my best to explain it. It seems that a private security expert has high rollers bet on his ability to solve/thwart crimes in Vegas. Snipes plays the pit boss to make sure that the bets are all on the up and up. Interesting, but I don't know how intrigued I am to actually check it out.

Wow. Maybe I do have time to research the other networks. I'm starting to think the main networks gave up a bit.
